For Sale: 2016 Hyperstrada 939

NEW 2016 Ducati Hyperstrada 939

Selling my new Ducati Hyperstrada 939. Has just had the 650 mile service completed by Ducati in Brea, CA. ($300). Mint/Flawless condition. I bought the bike 3 weeks ago and won't have time for it like I thought I would.

The bike MSRP is $14,300 + $2,000 frieght fee + Tax & License = $17,500.

I'm asking $13,500 because I know I took the ass beating for the service fees when I rode it out of the showroom. It's more than fair and that price is firm.

Call/Text if interested. If you want to test ride the bike, go to a dealer and ask to ride a demo bike. My bike isn't going to be a test ride machine.

There are new 2016's for sale in Florida, California, and Alabama for 10k. Just so you know....

If that's what you truly paid you got fleeced. I've gotten multiple quotes under 12k out the door.

Not to pile on but I paid 12.3k otd for a brand new 2016 939 in February of 17 (not including tax).

Yeah, if you time it right you can get these out the door for $10-12k brand new FYI. Mine was $11,300 or so out the door but I have heard of way better deals than that even...

$13,500 is a stretch. You got hosed at your dealer bro.

Yea, but if NO ONE bought brand new bikes ... where would all the good deals on USED bikes come from? We NEED new bike buyers to keep Ducati alive and to keep dealers healthy.

It's true, dealers are now making good deals on left over '15 and '16 HyperStradas. It's also a discontinued model ... so even more incentive for discounts.

One ad I saw from a Ducati dealer posted a price of about $10.9 ... but then said buyer would also get a $1000 rebate from Ducati.

But man, all those bogus fees really add up ... even starting off at $9.9

I bought my bike used (still got nailed by some fees) plus tax, plus extended warranty.

Private party is way to go to save money ... and if the bike you buy is still under factory warranty you may be able to buy an aftermarket extended warranty from a Ducati dealer.

Just not in this thread :). I'm not saying no one should buy new bikes. I'm saying no one should be surprised that they are worth half what they paid for them 6 months later.

Poor OP... lol. Buying new bikes is a major bummer. My Hyper is the first bike I bought new. You take a major hit but know its history from day 1.

Any idea what I could get for my 2014 SP with 14k miles?

From LA CL ad. Seems a little low to me. I would think 7-7.5k.

An SP will definitely sell for more. I haven't seen a used one listed for under $10k.
