I'm actually struggling if I should choose knobbies for the next tire set. I've made a hundred(ish) kilometers on gravel so far and the Scorpion tire are barely up to the task.

I've taken my hyper a few places I shouldn't be.. There's a powerline that runs through suburbia by me with a long dirt road underneath it. Sometimes I blast down there for fun with the Diablo Rosso tires. For best results, take off ABS and TCS. I have a few motocross friends I plan on tagging along with for some woods trails.

I Ride: Used to ride 2011 Duc Multi, and 2011 Duc 848
Enjoy this thread. I owned a Multi 1200 and 848 but sold them when I moved to Denver. Looking hard at getting the Hyper to go off-road or at least on fire roads. Would you recommend I get the SP for the better suspension and put the Hyper goodies on it for better off roading?

Keep in mind the SP suspension is fully adjustable while the others are not. The SP also has higher suspension travel and sits much higher. I bought the base because I figured what I savsd could be used to put new cartridges in the forks.
