I can just see Mila Jovavich on it, running from the zombies through Yellowstone...

Or Angelina, if you were a Tomb Raider fan

I found myself on a dirt road a couple of days ago when I met my brother at a popular tool store and we decided to try hunting for morel mushrooms. The ride to wear we were hunting had about 2 miles of gravel road that lead us to a unmaintained road that was also about 2 miles (3.2 km). There were ruts and pot holes that would have been a challenge to navigate at any speed in my Subaru Crosstrek XV. Thankfully, my brother was in a 4 wheel drive truck and I was riding my HS. It has been some years since I intentionally rode off pavement with a bike so it took a second to adjust to the parallel'ish raised dirt ridges pushing against my tire as I would drive over them. Considering that my HS is all factory, it seemed to do really well.

I used Urban riding mode and had adjusted it to low engine power, DTC 6, and ABS 2. I had no issues with slipping/skidding while braking and accelerating "aggressively*".

*I didn't push my luck but felt like if DTC and ABS were off I would have been slipping/skidding all over.

I think that I will use these settings more in the future if I find myself riding on other "off-road" surfaces.

I like the look !!! I didn't get but about 3000 miles out of a set on my BMW 1200 GS . I want to put something on the new HS but not sure about the TKC 80's . Any one tried the Karoo 3's ? I want Hiedenau K 60's , really liked them on the GS ! Heard when they may have a 180 rear yet ?

Nice. Those look like they would be brutal on pavement but it would be so awesome to shoot a 6' high rooster tail in the dirt. This would probably be a great motor if you could handle the HS like a dirt bike.

I had TKCs on my Tiger. They're remarkably good on the street, all things considered. Edge to edge grip, but at the cost of tire life. They go away fast.

For anyone considering Heidenau K60, you have to be very careful if airing down for off road use. The bead easily unseats just enough to leak and go flat. You need a fairly high output compressor to reseat the tire if that happens. However, they work well even at higher than you would like pressures in the dirt. Front tire annoyingly noisy on freeway above 65mph. They wear incredibly well.
