If it ain't broke, why fix it? You have to bypass a sensor yadda yadda - I'd just ask why?

i unplugged the servo motor. Really easy to get to. Disables that annoying motor buzzing sound on startup. Now it's louder when you rev it and one less thing to break.

Interesting the valve stays in the open position when you unplug it. Did it free up any horsepower or help in any way.

No idea. Probably not any difference. Word has it the valve is a noise control device only.

I just disconncted the cable at the butterfly end, keeping the electrical side connected so as not to throw any fault codes. The servo still sweeps its test.

The servo can be fully removed with no check engine light, as far as I know. Some other Ducati models get lights if they remove the servo. So you shouldn't need one of those bypass units.

I unhooked my cable and left it hanging, there is a loss of a bit torque, doesn't seem to rev as quickly, I can feel it rolling on while on the freeway, but hey, it sounds cool.

It is easy to hook back up though.

I unhooked my cable from the valve side, I also have a Remus exhaust with Cat delete and boy did it get louder. Backfires a bit more too (running leaner?). I am now getting an engine code.

To fix this I am going to go to ACE and put a spring on the cable so the servo motor "feels" like it is opening and closing the valve.
