12v outlets

I have not tried to use the 12v outlets, because I don't have anything that will fit in them. Any ideas where to get an adapter for the GPS or USB jacks?

When I had my Mutley 1200 I purchased an adapter from Ebay, that plugged into power let socket, and allowed a standard 12v plug to be used I.e. sat nav with plug suitable for car.?........ However on a safety note I stopped using this as after a short while the vibrations would make it all work loose and on more than one occasion the 12v plug would dangle near the rear wheel. Appreciate Ducati giving me two 12volt. Sockets but just wish they were standard 12v sockets so I could use everything I have got !! I thought I would use an Optimate charger lead with a plug on one end and a standard 12v socket on the other.....however at the moment I can't get the cable oiu of the battery compartment area as it is all so tightly concentrated with no gaps For cabling ??

These appear to be DIN 4165 connectors, also known as Hella or Merit plug:

ISO 4165 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Popular with caravaners (urgh!). And BMW riders (urgh!)

I have found a web site that sells a cable adapter from DIN4165 to weatherproof USB so you could plug your iDevice into the USB. However the thought occurs to me, why not just remove the DIN4165 connector and plug the USB output direct into the wiring harness ? See:

Google Hella, Meriit or Powerlet and you will find plenty of options for supply.
