Actually being able to see well enough to carry some speed ought to be nice :-)
We live close enough, I would be interested in some night riding this summer. I have done quite a bit over here in the SC mountains and can go the same speed at night as during the day... in fact, visibility is actually better because there are no shadows and you can tell when there is an oncoming car.

I stopped producing them, but still have a few kits left that may or may not be accounted for. Just waiting on some replies from forum members. If they decide to pass I will certainly let you know.

Really nice job, kuksul08! With service loops to ensure there are no extreme angles and zip tying to frame, the wire lengths were all spot on.

My only problem was trying to find a longer battery terminal bolt. Couldn't get the bolt to engage with the lights, USB, battery tender and heated gear leads.

Will have to clean that up one of these days. Should've at least wired the USB to the gps connector behind the headlight.

Thanks for the feedback and positive review! For the battery terminal, I too have about 3 extra things attached to it and found that by putting a small piece of rubber tubing underneath the battery terminal nut, it holds the nut toward the top of the retainer and lets the stock screw grab onto it. Otherwise, it won't reach!

For those of you who have purchased and installed the lights, thank you for your patience and having faith in my craftsmanship despite not being part of a known company or brand. If you have the time, some pictures of the lights on your bike would be really awesome, for my own enjoyment. These lights were a labor of love and really took me a lot of time to design and build. I have lost track of the number of hours I spent standing next to the machine in the garage, painting, soldering, and troubleshooting. So, it's always cool to see something I made by hand being enjoyed all around the world! Moving forward, I hope to one day create an actual brand that people can remember, and create products that can be used on all sorts of bikes, not just the hyper.

I suspect you'd find my pace dissapointing, but I'm sure I'd at least be able to keep track of where you were based on the glow from these lights, so I'm down to give it a shot once I get few night rides under my belt.

An excuse to take pictures of the bike is always welcome, I'll see what I can manage this weekend :-)

Is anyone on the original list still interested in a kit? I have one here ready to go.

I just saw this thread and haven't read through all of it yet. If there is another kit available please let me know what the price is. I'm not looking for a nightime light so much as a daytime running light to make me more visible. Thanks!

All of the V2 lights are spoken for.

I'll have one V1 kit as soon as I can get around to working on it. It also has a daytime mode.

The difference between v1 and v2? And the price?

Thanks!

They look the same. Mostly behind the scenes changes.

Thinking $350 for the V1 kit whenever I get it done. It is one I used therefore $100 off.

You also have clearwater and denali options.

If you would please hold it for me and send me pictures if you can please. They look a lot more finished than the round stuff others are selling. Dig the design. You have good taste.

I guess there is a low beam and high beam function, correct?
