Question

Thank you kuksul for organising the upgrade kits, and for the instructions. Received both kits recently and will have it installed at the 30k km service soon.

I'm a little confused about the correct assembly, hopefully someone can explain it. My understanding is that the clutch can be fixed either by getting the official 2015 Ducati clutch assembly, or by installing both the disc and upgrade kit offered here. What confuses me is that the diagram of the 2015 assembly looks different to the diagram bayotte posted in the clutch fix guide thread.

Both use 11 driving plates, 10 driven plates, 1 washer and 1 spacer, but in the Ducati image the spacer and the washer come last, whereas in the other image they go between the final plate pair.

Both images were included in the eBay description, so which one is the right way to do it? Thanks for clarifying.

The images show the same thing. The washer and spacer fit inside the outer friction plate, which is why the diagram is a little confusing.

Thanks, just had a closer look at the parts and I see what you mean. Makes sense now.

I didn’t ride last year but I still have the 2013 white one. The clutch has always been terrible and noisy, it rattles/chatters at idle until I squeeze the lever to engage. Seeing this post gives me hope that this can be corrected!

The eBay seller is out of the 133/6 kit but said they should have more in a few weeks.

Did any of you have a noisy clutch that was also corrected with this upgrade?

Never had a noisy clutch. You might have another issue.

My clutch kit has been installed and the snatchy grabbiness is gone! She's like a normal bike now. I rode for a long time in stop and crawl traffic and every start was smooth as can be.

Thanks for coming up with this!!!!
