Slip-On Exhaust, what's your experience?

I'm currently in the market for a slip-on but with so many out there I'm not sure what to choose. So, I come to you guys asking what you have gone with?
How do/did you like it? Did it have a nice low tone, an annoying tinny sound? Was it too loud? Did you remove it and go with something else, what did you replace it with? I'm not looking to spend Termi/Arrow/Remus money right now, my budget won't allow it or I would probably go with an Arrow. I'm just looking for a nice low growl, not overly obnoxious & LOUD. Would like it to have a removable baffle as well.

What say you?

Here are a few I'm considering...
LeoVince(heard it might be obnoxiously loud)
GPR(currently at the top of my list)
MIVV(doesn't look like they make one for the '16 939)
Giannelli(never heard anything about this one)
DanMoto (super cheap compared to the others, probably that way for a reason)

I'm happy with my shift-tech, i posted many many side by side pics recently. They had a sale going on, I'm not sure if they still do. Pipes like the Ackro and Arrow will need to purchase the mid pipe too. The shift-tech comes with it for ~$550 during the sale. I also wanted to stay away from the tinny raspy noise. From what I read, the short SC concepts, Noriyoshi(I posted a sale on those recently), and other pipes that have a beer can shape will be loud and the pipes with structure n shape to them will have a deeper solid tone. Also, Spark makes a really cool pipe that include the mid pipe and valve delete

Thanks for the info. That shift-tech looks good. How is the sound? Nice deep burble but not too loud?

I've seen a bunch of "counterfeit" exhausts on ebay lately. They look the similar to the real brand but are super cheap and come from China... I searched for "hyperstrada exhaust" and basically everything between $50 and $150 is a "fake" lol.

Fake M4 (they blurred out the brand on it lol)

Tons of fake Akra

Nope I have a full Termi system which I love primarly because it smoothed the bike out and gave it a noticeably bump in power.

I am staying stock. The stock pipe actually makes pretty good sound especially at highway RPMS. It cracks pops and burps on over run. Its slightly quiet at idle but nice. However it is UGLY AS SIN.

The Akra is going to be 4 times as loud as stock and adds less than one horsepower. Look at the dB rating!! Boo... If you ask me the Ducati engineers did a damn good job if aftermarket can't squeak out even one more HP!

I'd rather save my money on a retune to make the bike less jerky and improve fueling. If that is even possible.

I'm not looking for more power. If I were I would just spend the money for a full system and a re-tune. I just want something that looks good, sounds good(maybe a bit louder) and doesn't cost a ton of money(preferably under $500).

I also wasn't looking to squeeze the most power out. I wanted to change the look, get a nice tone and let it breath a little better. I couldn't be more happy with the shift tech. It has a deep rumble and not raspy at all. The link I posted in classifieds has a pipe under $500. Also, hot bodies has a pipe, it's like $250 but I'm guessing it is very loud. I also did a Star.ace@hotmail.it intake. They allow alot more air flow. Next is a tuner and then just carbon fiber parts that I will make myself.

I put an Akra on mine. It's not too loud at all. I was actually fairly disappointed but I was coming from an RC51 with Ladybirds. Not many bikes can compare to that. Overall, the Akra is well priced and great quality. Not too much louder than stock in my opinion. And yes, I removed the baffle.
