My wife has an '05 SV650 (naked), and complained that she had trouble holding on at 70+ mph. Same solution, now she is happy. Check out the website, they are located in SoCal.

The physics of the Lip's action is that it smooths the flow (hence the name); I note that the stock 'Strada screen does this to some extent due to the gap at the bottom. If you don't mind looking at it, I'm sure that Lip would make the airflow much less turbulent. These guys test every one on each specific bike to optimize the design. It fastens with velcro buttons, no drilling needed.

Usual disclaimers - no affiliation, etc. etc.

zippy, did the LIP on your Buell fasten the same way? Just wondering how those buttons look if you want to remove the LIP for poking around.

Got the Puig clip on extension today and it took about ten minutes to put on. Its not attractive but it is functional. It can be set on several different levels. I put it on its highest setting and it definitely made a difference. Directs the wind higher over my head and breaks it up where its not so direct. I'll try to load some pics of it. Its works well on the touring screen and I can imagine it would be useful on the stocker too. Its $120 and im satisfied with it.

Yes the velcro buttons are obvious. But I never bothered to take the lip off, save for bike washing. I got used to the smoothed airflow and the smoke tint helps the looks.

Got the Puig clip on in today and it took about ten minutes to put on. It made a marked difference by directing the air to the top of my helmet. It adds weight to the screen so it bounces a bit more in the wind but no problems. It runs $120 but does its job. Not real attractive but its functional and thats what i was going for. I'll try to post some pics.

The Laminar Lip is the original, and made right here in the USA.

Happy New Year!
