Put the Ducati tail rack on today. The thing came disassembled with multiple screws, bolts, spacers, washers, springs and somethings they call pins. Surprising as I am one of the most least mechanically inclined folks ever it went together quite easily. I just followed the directions!

Replaced my burned out headlight bulb with an LED unit from Cyclops.

jerdog, let us know how the output is compared to stock. Did you have to modify anything to fit the unit?

I took before and after pictures of the high beam as the low is the one burned out and from looking at the pictures you can't tell the difference. It will be at least a week before it warms up enough here for a night ride....

Started the installation of my new heated grips. What is interesting they are sleeves. They are not like other grips I had to glue on. The right side has the throttle mech built into it. They are bolt on. Now in need to get the front off to find the connections. Then ride to the dealer and have the computer activated.

I can not wait!

Did you go with the standard 3800L or super bulb they offer?

I installed the 3800L model. It's a bit low (need to adjust) and the beam is a bit scattered. Low beam doesn't have a lot of throw but I feel the high beam is an improvement. Definitely doesn't match the youtube video I saw from one installed on a Motard.

Honestly, I treat motorcycle lamps as "don't hit me" beacons, so high beam is more important to me as I have aux driving lamps for actually seeing where I'm going. *Though it doesn't put out as much light from the saddle as I expected, when you look at it from 20 yards away, the LEDs are certainly more noticeable than the stock halogen. Hard to explain but better from a "be scene" aspect. It perfectly matches the stock LED parking lamps, too. I know you get dirty and probably have different needs.

Install is pretty easy. You have to fung-shui the relay and splice box but it all fits. I may get better results after adjusting the beam.

Gat I did the 3800 lamp, started to do the 7K but thought that may be a bit offensive. Still haven't run them yet, too damn cold outside....

Zard!!

I opened a box and got really excited. Titanium and carbon, oh my!

Very well built. No installation instructions, but should be fairly straight forward.

It weighs 3 lbs 14 ounces. I wonder how that compares to stock?

I also think my neighbours are going to hate me.

Hi, I'm new here. Last weekend I installed the Fabbri GEN-X Touring Screen and disconnected the actuator cable for the exhaust servo motor.
I'm pretty pleased with the results of both mods. Wind noise is a little louder now but my exhaust sounds better so it's a fair trade in my book.

My newest mod. I deconstructed the overly large Ducati Top Case to remove the quick release/keyed mounting bracket, and installed it on a much smaller tail bag. The bag is a National Cycle 4L rear storage compartment, and it works perfect on the bike for when I need to only carry a few items on a ride.

Just tail bag:

Tail bag and Panniers:

Keyed quick disconnect:

Sorry for the shitty iPhone 5S pictures.. I was in a rush to get on the road.
