LED Headlight only

Hello,

I want to know if it is possible to turn only the LED light in the front of our hyperstrada ?

thank you ;)

(Sorry for my bad English)

Do you mean turn the headlamp off, with only parking lights (LED) on? Not when the engine is running. Maybe you could pull the Fuse #1 in forward fuse box, but I don't know if it handles parking lights too.

Illegal to run without lamp in US.

I dont know of any H4 LED only bulbs. I would be intrested in this if it gave out (much) more light than normal.

There is a thread about converting the reflector to a bi-Xenon HID beam.

Jamie, look at lifetime LED. Best on the market, plug and play no harness or anything and puts 2400lm on low and 2600lm on high. 5000lm when both on. That's more lumens than a 35w hid kit at 4300k. Also uses a third of the power and less heat.

No, ordering them soon. Seen videos of them installed and read testimonials about them, plus they are waterproof as well. It's cool that they have one LED for low and another for high. Only thing I worry about is the back cap fitting. Not that big of a deal, but still. They have a wider spread of light and put out more light.

This is a Toyota Tacoma with dual H4's. See how far the light goes? See how wide it spreads?

Thanks. I will be looking to get on for the Hyper when I get it in the summer. I already have a 55W HID on my GSR600. Be nice to have the power of the HID but the spread of the LED.... looks likes its there now :D

No worries. HID is becoming a thing of the past. Sure LED is at the point where it puts out a lot of light and used in cars now... BUT. Now the whole rage is the new laser headlight technology from BMW and Audi. Those supposedly produce miles and miles more of light and use less power? Only a matter of time before that tech follows.
