Cool The "Blue Beauty" is complete! Heavily modified Hyperstrada *LOTS of PICTURES*

Here she is! Very nearly complete. I painted her to match my car (blue and silver, with beige interior) and absolutely love how it came out. Have added many modifications, as well. Just a couple more to go and I'll officially be done.

It's amazing how much customizing a bike can change the riding experience. Whereas before, for me personally, it wasn't a terribly special experience to ride this bike when it was stock, now I absolutely love it and have a smile on my face every time I ride it because it's tailor-made for me.

The Hyperstrada is a tremendously good platform to start. But I'm a connoisseur of fine vehicles and it had a few cheap looking/feeling parts on it that I was eager to do away with (namely, mirrors, rear brake reservoir, and turn signals). So I replaced those with higher quality components and then went further with a number of other things and brightened up some areas of the bike with added contrast, performance parts, and protection.

Here's the full list:

1. Garmin Zumo 390LM GPS w/TPMS front and rear
2. R100 GPS steering head mount
3. Superlite 14T front sprocket
4. Blackout front turn signals
5. Billet oil cap
6. DID ZVMX gold chain
7. Evotech radiator and engine guard set
8. Ducati heated grips
9. HELLA trumpet horn (much louder than OEM horn)
10. R&G Tail Tidy
11. Metal license plate frame
12. Speedymoto frame sliders
13. Rizoma billet black rear brake fluid reservoir
14. Rizoma 4D aspheric billet black mirrors (great viewing coverage and extremely well made)
15. Ducati Panigale rear turn signals (much smaller and much brighter)
16. Ducati touring windscreen (looks better because it's smoked and noticeably more comfortable)
17. Vizi-tec brake light modulator (very cool safety feature!)
18. Shorai lithium battery (much lighter than OEM battery and more resilient)

+ Rich custom leather seat (seat was lowered by removing foam, but comfort retained via a gel pad insert, and seat was also narrowed, making it much more comfortable as it doesn't push my thighs out like it did before and I can squeeze my legs into the tank for better stability)

+ Full paint job in Sapphire Blue and GT Silver

+ Stainless hardware all around

Remaining things to be done (not seen in pictures):

- Install rear seat bag (painted to match bike - have, just need to install)
- Install GPT GI 3001 gear indicator next to GPS (have, just need to install)
- Install Kaoko cruise control (have, just need to install)
- Install frame plugs (on order)
- Install Rizoma silver water pump guard (still to buy)
- Install Rizoma front and rear axle sliders (still to buy)
- Install Flash2Pass garage door opener (still to buy)
- Xenon headlight retrofit (still to buy)

Looks great.
That seat would look fabulous on a white hyper.

That is definitely your Hyper now!

What's the seat material? Think it will stain or discolor? Prob not an issue if it doesn't sit outside much. Looks nicely sculpted.

Painting the rear plastic bits sure makes a difference to the appearance!

I think rear subframe is begging to be coated now, if you're asking yourself "what can I do next?" No input on what color, but that textured aluminum stands out and doesn't match any other parts.
