Nice one ND. I am a fan of the SW-Motech gear. I fitted the Multistrada Alu-Rack soon after I got the Hyper and then added the DayPack bag and their click on mount system, great products, bit pricey, but high quality.

I went for the SW Motech Rearbag fitted on the Steel Rack. It takes no space on the passenger seat so I can ride 2 up with no problem.

I like that. Hard to picture how it'd look from pics of it not mounted on our type of bike. Proportions seem pretty good.

I felt as though the low profile of the "Jetpack" bag would be better for my commute and as a backpack for days when I'm not going to work by bike. My wife and son barely ever ride with me so while at first I was not happy about the fact that the jetpack covers some of the back seat, I realize now it's not a big deal since I'm solo much of the time. My wife and son aren't about to ride with me for enough of a distance to need to carry much. I would have liked having a bag they could use as sort of a backstop - not quite a backrest but to ease their concerns about flying off the back of the bike. I may make a backrest that goes on and off the rack easily, but no rush on that.

PS. Wife had her own bike once. Many miles with me on mine. Son came along and riding went by the wayside. Maybe when he's off on his own.

My setup is GF approved as a backrest for long trips

i decided on the givi tank lock system mainly because it's cheaper and have more variety to choose from. but since there is no easy way of mounting it on the tank, i opted to slap it onto the touratech rack, making it a tail bag system. first i got the 25-liter, then later the 4-liter 3d. both are easily interchangeable depending on how much i need to carry. 4-liter bag for short city commutes, 25-liter for longer drives out of town

Great looking and very functional bag, been thinking about something similar for when I don't need the size of my old Givi V46. However, the price($256US) is more than I am currently willing to spend. Did you find any similar(or maybe slightly smaller volume) products around the $150 mark?
