Strider, This bike is different than anything else I own or have ridden. Kind of hard to get comfortable on. The race seat has raised me up and gives a good flat platform to move around on and not be locked into one position which helps. I have also notice that you have to get WAY forward on this bike to make it behave properly and to get a good body position. When you crank that curve get that head way out front and try to kiss the inside mirror. OK a bit of an exaggeration but not really. If you sit back and relax on the bike the body position is all wrong and it feels weird.

Don't give up as it is a great bike and a blast to ride, Just real different than other things on two wheels. Or if it just does not fit then there is no harm in trying other typed of rides.

Well on my way to a dealer to demo a replacement bike I tried a few things. First off I also need to move back to about the beginning of the passenger area to be where I want when ridding hard. Good to know, much better contact with the bike this way, HUGE difference. So the seat is my biggest problem. Vibes are the next issue. My throttle hand falls asleep in 17.5 miles of highway riding. I have my hands as loose as I can and still keep the throttle open. My clutch hand is fine forever. Feet are better then throttle hand but.......not my favorite thing. I have yet to be able to find a Hypermotard seat to try, maybe that will solve some of my issues.

As I left the dealer I was getting annoyed (and have in the past) with the height of the bike. It would be nice to lower it a hair. I demoed a VFR (1998) and damn it felt right on.

Perhaps try different gloves for the vibes. I have dual layer gloves, one that breathes well for summer riding and the other goretex for rain. I find that as long as the weather isn't too hot, using the goretex layer dampens the vibes almost completely. I had no vibe related issues on a roughly 2200 mile trip ober 5 days last fall.

I agree with wanting to sit further back (and slightly higher for more knee comfort for long distances). Not sure of there's an off-the-shelf solution. Corbin seat looks like it locks you into one position, which may be worse for knee comfort than the stock seat. Let me know if you have found a solution.

Pleases as punch with the Racing Seat. No slip cover, allows for alternate seating positions, durable too.

As for the skinny handlebar grips, I always add grip covers. If vibrations were an issue, I'd have to assume these would help there too. My issue is big hands.

Just got my Corbin Seat

Just got my seat. First thought, it fits really nice and your arse is planted well on the seat. It does sit closer to the front imo. Its hard to justify the price tag but it is an improvement from the stock hypermotard seat (not strada). Here are some pics.

Nice.
What about the height of the Corbin vs stock? I need same or taller.

I actually took my seat to a shop and they shaved the foam and it is perfect now. I sit about an inch and a half further back and don't feel tilted foward.

I just bought the race seat. I felt like 6” higher on the bike at first. I like the seating position now. I can move around side to side so much easier, and sit back on the seat if I want. My question is will it break in? It is very hard. Will it soften up in time?

All foam breaks down with use, but I wouldn't say the race seat becomes soft.

Instead I ride wearing Moto Skiveez.
