I Ride: Hyperstrada
The plugs are 1/8" and the hose connection to lengthen the vent line is 5/16"

I Ride: 2013 Hyperstrada & 2006 WR250F
Just performed the "surgery" on mine. Left the hoses in place just in case my picky dealer decides this could cause a warranty issue and I have to replace the canister.

Thank you to all the posted pics and directions. I had no idea how to do this before this thread!

Im confused. I am in the UK. I haven't picked up my SP yet. Would I have this and why would I want to remove it?

phantom, dont worry about it, it's not fited to the UK bikes it's for California Emission Laws and doesn't affect our market.
