Guys, did this and removed the hoses, all looks well - when routing the existing fuel evap exit line through the existing cutout in the skid plate, it is tight, tight enough to squeeze/compress the line against other hoses which I feel triggered an error code on mine until I repositioned the exit line. So watch that line does not get too compressed.

Here in Africa I have never seen a device like this on a bike, man it is butt ugly. What does it do? Remove excess fuel vapour from the tank?

It just filters out the fuel vapors coming out of the vent of the tank.

Anyone have the throttle not return to 0 after doing this mod? The reason I ask is because I'm on another thread talking about the bike rpm's not dropping off after releasing the throttle. I looked at the evaporator schematic and the return line dumps into the intake manifold which might be causing my issue. Let me know if I'm crazy or not.

The big tubing is 1/4" not 5/16"
