Downloaded the manual from the JKE site but it is not showing up as a manual. Text descriptions are separate from and not cross referenced to the pictures and the table of contents/index is separate too. Has anyone had this problem?

Check your download settings - this is an html docutment. Opens just fine for me in Firefox. I get a home page with a pic of a red Strada, just click on it.

I just received a "workshop manual, parts catalogue and an owners manual" on CD from Ebay.
This is their website WWW.manual-world-ecosse.com
So far it looks pretty detailed. cost me $24.00 all in to my door.
I am going to make a copy for a local member on this board and let them check it out.
Cheers

Does Duc not offer factory service manuals? I always get them for my cars.

They only sell the whole package of manuals for a given model year. $700 bucks or something large like that. And even then, it's in an electronic format that requires a dealer account for updates. The. JKE product seems to be a rip of the Hyperstrada component of the files. The last version I downloaded still wasn't complete, but can't really complain as it was just a few dollars.

Please let us know if this version is complete...still need the info on the rest of the electronics (CPU etc.).

Gat, have you not read the thread on the Service Manual? USB stick only, $600-ish, need to be a dealer for updates.

Yeah, I read it. I have 3 kids so parts of my brain are oatmeal. It's just so ridiculous that they don't offer a consumer grade one, unless that's standard in the bike world. I get them for all my cars.

I would if I worked on them myself. Harley has it right, they offer very well-written and illustrated manuals and parts books for all models. The Japanese manufacturers tend to just list the order in which something is dis- and re-assembled, not nearly as informative.
