Hello,

I am about to get my new bike and I was thinking of getting the sc project exhaust.

However to take advantage of it I would like to remove the flapper/butterfly valve.

From what I read above the link pipe provided by sc project removes the flapper/butterfly valve from the system...

As I read that it was not the case on other forums I would please like to have confirmation if you installed this exhaust ?

Thanks a lot

I believe the valve will be removed if you install the full system, but not the case with slip-on only.
Using slip-on only requires to disconnect the valve motor? or at least the cable that moves the butterfly? does installing a servo eliminator is a good solution? (Vizi-Tec DUCATI Hyperstrada 821 Exhaust Servo Eliminator ) I'm not sure if disconnecting the cable to the butterfly (at the motor) is reversible... I'm trying to make things easy to have the bike in same condition as new in the event of visiting the dealer... warranty issues...

Totally reversible. Just a cable that you pull off a spring loaded valve. It's the square-ish aluminum cover with 2x 10mm bolts just under the slip on junction. Disconnect cable and wrap up inside cover. The servo will still actuate the cable, so be sure it won't catch anything.
