Gear indicator

Anyone installed a gear indicator on the HS yet?

I'm thinking to get one on but not sure which one or if it's possible without disturbing the wiring.

Regards.

You could find useful this:
"Ok, took it to the dealer, just called them. ECU Canban system had a critical error which they cleared and then the bike started , they took it for a ride and then the Throttle Position sensor is no longer being recognised by the ECU. I had a Healtech gear position sensor/ indicator plugged in but took this out when it wouldn't learn. The dealer have now disconnected its power lead also. Now I dont know if the ECU caused the Healtech to not learn or vice versa. If they get it working I'll be scared to connect it back up."

Hi, I'm the guy Stradavarious quoted.
I installed the Healtech on my Strada and it wou;dn't set up. I contacted Healtech technical who were superb and even responded on a Sunday with mails and texts when I tried to get it working. In the end they asked I send it back for a full refund, which I did. They will be working to get one for the new Hyper but at the time of writing, nothing yet.
(I had the HEALTECH on my 2008 Hyper and 2010 Tiger and they were superb)

Installed?

anyone installed it yet?

Its not like the DS model which is plug and play, the GIPRO-X requires a wheel speed sensor to be fitted for the Strada -hmmm. Maybe I'll wait a while longer just in case

I don't see how they can make it plug & play, the speed output goes from ABS to ECU, so you have to tap into that line. It was blue on The Super Tenere, but I never tried it on the Duc. I did put the gear indicator on my wife's 696, but that was a long time ago, don't think that was plug & play either, even tho her bike does not have ABS.
