Question Rear brakes rotor catalogue number

Hi folks.

Does anyone knows the catalogue part number for the rear brake rotor? Mine is due for replacement but when looking at the maintnance PDF document I realized that the item is missing from the part list. We can see the rotor on the drawing but no number has been assigned for it. Bummer.

The part number is 49210051A. I think you were looking at the wrong page. The diagram with the rims shows the whole brake rotor assembly as one piece. Further into the spare parts catalog is the rear hub diagram with the part numbers.

Edit: How many miles do you have on the rear rotor? Mine is starting to feel warped at 12k miles.

Ah. Yes. Got it. 49210051A Thanks a lot bud.

I think I've clocked 35000 km with it but I'm way below the minimum thickness.

I could see two reason for warped rotors. It could be caused by some driving habits like keeping the foot on the pedal has you drive along or use the rear brakes instead of the front for the brunt of the braking power.

Might want to try something cheaper/better than an OE rotor: Galfer DF769W, EBC MD627. Seems to be half the cost for a better rotor.

As for the warping, I had the same issue with the fronts. Got so bad I had them replaced under warranty. The consensus around here seemed to be the bad stock pad material. That doesn't seem to be the case, as I threw in some Galfer HH pads with the new rotors, and now 6k miles in they're starting to lightly pulse again. I might try lightly oiling the buttons (without any on the rotor surface), to see if that makes them feel any better.

I might wait for the rear to get a little worse, and see if I can get it warrantied. I'll toss in HH pads in the rear as well and cross my fingers.

My monster had 35k miles on the original rotors before they came close to the minimum thicknesses, still with no pulsing. Seems like these new rotors are of lower quality.
