I just had this exact same thing happen to me today. Riding to work as usual, no error codes or lights or strange behavior until I went to accelerate hard, and nothing. It just baaaaaarely accelerated.

Pulled over, went into the 'settings' menu and didn't see any engine codes. Turned off the bike, turned it back on, and it's working as usual. Full power, smooth throttle. Did a few high RPM runs with no issues.

Not very confidence inspiring... I'll try the TPU connector I suppose. I hate intermittent issues like this.

Did you get yours replaced under the TSB?

Yes I did, about 2 years ago now. Never had a problem with it before or after the replacement.

The good thing at least (I think) is that this is not characteristic of the dash/ecu failure. That supposedly includes lots of flashing lights.

I Ride: 2013 White Strada
Very issue I had early with my '13. Started off as occasional nuisance and impossible to duplicate. After a year and couple thousand miles, happened almost daily. Never saw it again after the TPS recall.

Only correlation I noted was always happened on cold starts. I got good at rolling restarts when I didn't notice the limp mode until out of the neighborhood...

It was chilly this morning, that's for sure. Bracing myself for a $150 TPU replacement...

Based on my most recent experience the bike was thoroughly warmed up when it started in limp mode. What year is you SP Kuksul?

Dang, I wonder if anybody else who got one of those replacements(myself included) will have the issue rear its head again.

Did you go ahead and double check your battery connections?

Ah, mine is a 2015 so supposedly a lot of these issues should have been solved. I've been lazy (or busy with work) but I need to double check the battery connection again (last ride had a few nicely bumpy roads) and check the TPS connection, then ride it again and see if the problem comes back. If it keeps showing up I'll just keep going to Munroe until I get something warrantied :-)

I JUST did some fiddling and re-tightened the battery cables so I'm sure it's not that, but I will certainly check on it.
