Probably a dumb question

Why Do I need a Ducati Wheel nut tool to remove wheel nuts?

Would an appropriate sized 12 point socket for each wheel nut do the trick?

46mm to be exact and the chain side is 41mm first time you put the nut back on I recommend a torque wrench as its not on very tight
