You have to use a 20 gauge piece of wire to shim the top of the H4 connector to lower the bulb into the proper spot in the reflector so it focuses properly. IE: when you twist and lock the h4 put a piece of thin wire up top between the mount and the bulb mount.

Then I found you have to adjust the light housing itself down quite a bit. Look up DOT specs - something like 4' high at 25' away from the target.

Assuming you bought a bulb with a shield, you should have good cut off in low beam and a focussed light on the road. It has changed things for me. I put a link in a prior post that should be helpful for more info.

The new eviteck bulbs more closely emulate standard filament dimensions, so the shimming may not be required.
