Opinions on GPR can

interestingly my search didn't turn up anything on this site.

Any one running GPR exhaust cans?
if so, any opinions?

I'm looking for a reasonably prices alternative to a termi exhaust, but don't want to go louder, just throatier.

If I didn't find my slightly used Akra, I would have gone with the Remus Hypercone: Remus Hypercone

Remus was always a good looking, affordable exhaust for my Euro cars. I don't care for the look or noise of the Arrow-style tiny cans. Has more bark but no cat-delete mid-pipe.

got one on mine. I've ran it without the baffle bit too loud for commuting at 6am.
Quality is good, no issues with it. I'd recommend it!

so for those that didn't remove the baffles, would you say it is significantly louder than stock?
Does it give it a more throatier sound?

thanks

It's louder, no doubt. Deeper tone I think. I'll see if I can record something and post it up.

Just installed a Delkevic 13'' De-Cat Tri Oval stainless steel slip on. Quite cheap and sounds good! Looks, feels and sounds like it's well made, at a great price! Haven't been able to compared to anything else than stock.

scored a deal on fleabay. bought from an australian moto dealer, but it was direct shipped from GPR in Italy. $350 total. literally just installed yesterday night, but have not been able to take the bike out yet due to torrential rain. maybe this evening.

thanks for the replies.

I pulled the db killer from my Akra couple weeks ago, something I thought I would never do. I have the benefit of living in a community where literally everyone is up and going to the same job at the same time, so don't have to worry about being a nuisance. Wish I had done it sooner. Way better tone and the engine feels like it was meant to be this way. I wear ear buds or plugs so drone doesn't bother me at all.
