Hydraulic clutch slave cylinder

Are all Ducati hydraulic clutch slave cylinders the same bolt pattern? I'm not finding much info aside form piston diameter. I see many piston ratios between the models but nothing about but pattern and spacing. When looking at a hydraulic clutch control conversion for the 821/939 I see 2 links in the sale post but they seem to be the same as every other

I know on the 821 Engines, there is a hole for the clutch rod to go into on the left side that is covered up my a plastic cover/front sprocket cover. So there should be only 1 bolt pattern for the clutch slaves. I will be doing the hydralic clutch conversion on my bike next month. Parts are just sitting here but cant do it until my garage is finished being built. I will posting my installation on here after.

Have you started this conversion yet? I have individual parts ordered. Can you take a few measurements of the stainless button that gos in the clutch hat bearing as well as how long the push rod is please?

Any traction on this mod? I had some trouble after installing the OEM clutch fix and am half tempted to just swap to hydraulic.

Slave cylinder, rod and line will be under the tree from the kids. Just need to get a master cylinder. Apparently all of the 2002 and newer can swap out slave cylinders and there are only 2 or 3 different rod lengths. Also, the back side of the original center bobbin in the clutch hat appears as though it is already machined to accept the rod. It's as though ducati wanted to do this to the hyper but went with the cheaper cable clutch instead. It is all drop in from what I'm reading. One thing I have come across, when looking for rods and slave cylinders you want to find one that has the 'anti spin' cross pin to prevent it from spinning within the slave cylinder. I'm excited to mess with it.

Ducabike Hyd Clutch

Editing and time lapse aside, it looks extremely easy. Did you go with the Ducabike parts? When I looked up the kit, the slave cylinder was not included and it didn't say what specific part to order. What did you come up with?

I went with factory OEM used stuff. The kits out there are ridiculously expensive and like you said, the ducabike doesnt even come with the slave cylinder. I'll post the list when I get it together. I think it can all be done for $100-150 using low mile OEM parts. If it all works I could upgrade to more fancy pieces over time. The most expensive piece will be the master cylinder.

I'm willing to pull the trigger on the Ducabike parts. Unfortunately, I can't find anyone that will ship to FPO. I wrote Ducabike for assistance.

What OEM model parts are you using?

The 998,1199, 1299 slave with line and a 2016 959 push rod. I still need to come up with the master. I dont like the kits because of how expensive they are, the fact that they dont come with a slave cylinder and (a side from the ducabike kit) the master cylinder is not a radial master. The ones I seen are old tech axial masters. I can get a new megura HC1 for $150 plus the used parts I'm getting for Christmas($50 + $10) and have the whole thing done for $200. Or do some digging and find a used master for $50-100 and only be into it for $100-150. The ducabike kit is $375 + the cost of a slave cylinder. Hopefully it all works out.
