Bonamici shift lever

Bonamici vs modified/machined Chinese vs OEM. This is the only shift arm that I could find that pushes the linkage mount back far enough to fit a quickshift strain sensor while allowing the lever to be in the low position that I like. I originally purchased the Chinese shifter a few years ago and had to imediatly modify it(the 2 pieces wouldn't tighten enough and allowed movement between the 2 pieces). Later I machined a piece to braze to the back of the lever to allow for the quickshifter sensor. I also machined out the bushing and pressed 2 ceramic ball bearing cartridge bearings in its place. It made for a ridged and smooth movement but instead of taking to time to clean and powder coat it I decided to try the Bonamici. The Bonamici uses a larger bearing pivot than the bearings I pressed into the old arm. I ordered it Sept 3rd, recieved it today. Every place that had them for sale was on back order(allegedly. But looking at the placed that sell them, none say "in stock"). We shall see how it all works out. Bonamici part number- cod. LCEH

Araitim, can you post price and part #. Still looking for a fix to mount my quick shifter. The Chinese lever was awful.

Araitim, you chain looks knackered in one of those pictures, tight links and lack of lube.
Standard Ducati chains are rubbish.

It's not for lack of lube. It is shot though. I will be doing chain and sprockets soon. I have tight and loose spots. Believe it or not I just adjusted it. In the tight spot it is correct. In the loose spot it is crazy loose. It's my next maintenance job. But I use it as primary transportation so I need to wait a few weeks.

Honestly, going quick change/ 520/ bling-gold DID wasn't that bad. Sprocket Center has great packages and will size the chain based on model and options.

If you ride hard, 525 is the way to go, i'm on my third chain and sprocket set now.
I didn't compromise on price the last set. 1 AFAM Grade 8 Race Spec Gold XS-Ring Chain (Standard length)

1 Steel Rear Sprocket (Standard size)

1 Steel Front Sprocket (Standard size)

I personnaly think 520 is too light a chain on this bike unless you plan on changing it often.

520 is rated to 130hp and I don't race. I've got around 4000 miles on mine and it's fine. I did buy DID x-ring.
