Which tires for the Hyperstrada?

The new 821 Hyper comes with 3 different types of tyres:
- Hyperstrada: Pirelli Scorpion Trail (Trail)
- Hypermotard: Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 (Sport/GT)
- Hypermotard SP: Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP (Sport)
These are the tyres proposed in France but I assume that it is the same for everyone around the globe as the bikes are manufactured in Italy only - or some special version for special countries?

I do not know about the Scorpion trail, on my GSA the Metzeler Tourance 2 (trail) where ok but the Dunlop Roadsmart (sport/GT) were great. As I plan to ride the hyperstrada exclusively on roads (Paris) or curve spots in the French Alps I think that depending on my planning I will balance betwen Pirelli Diablo Rosso/Dunlop Roadsmart or dunlop Sportsmart/Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa (Tests will be necessary).
What about that?

Metzler Karoo 3

I also like the Heidenau K60 Scout

and maybe the Michelin Anakee 3 for something different

Sure that it will look great with tyres like this
A friend of mine put the heidenau on his GS, it goes well but obviously the machine does not hold the road like a panigale!! But in the dirt it is totally different.

Are they available in 180/55/17?

Unfortunately no, not all have the sizes we need a 17Ē diameter yes with a 150 width not a 180 width but with enough hit in the net maybe the manufactures will listen. The Continental TCK 80 didnít come out in a 180 width at first but enough Multistrada owners wanted them so Continental listened. My thinking was I would go with two sets of wheels the stockers with some super sticky on and a set of wire spoke wheels with more dirty tires on.

I offer to assist you with your tests, NarrowHead. Kindly send me a first-class return ticket Brisbane to Paris and I'll take it from there... L of S

I would pay to fly over there for the chance to ride that country with someone from there that speaks the language and knows all the good spots to eat!

I Ride: was Monster soon Hyperstrada
Sounds like party time at Narrow Heads. I think all my riding is going to be on asphalt so may look more towards a touring tire.

I Ride: Nothing right now....
Most of my riding will be asphalt as well so I'm leaning towards a sport touring spec tyre as well.
