Wow, people are actually insane enough about having a dry clutch to spend that much money? Amazing........ The bike has bigger problems then it's clutch and 2k would make these things awesome.

I Ride: anything I can get my hands on
Absolutely. And look at that pathetic "guard!" I'd rather spend the bucks on, say, suspension work.

Guys
I purchased a 2014 Hypermotard SP and found immediately that the clutch worked terribly from a dead stop. Particularly when at a light trying to get a jump on traffic. I found your forum and posts about the Judder spring and looked into it. My local Ducati dealer was useless but Barnett Clutch in Ventura hooked me up with their version of the Judder spring. It also included a fiber clutch plate with a larger diameter hole in the center to accommodate the Judder spring and flat plate.
I installed it, took about an hour. Let the gasket seal dry and whala the clutch felt like a normal clutch on every other bike I've ever owned. I was already super happy with this bike, now I'm even happier. (IMO Ducati should be handing these Judder springs out for free, they really screwed up on this slipper clutch design)

Light at the end of the tunnel?

Okay, I just got off the phone with Chaz. Turns out that the anti-judder spring and matching friction plate are from their dry clutch pack....and they are the same for the 821. I figure they should know! They don't have a part number for just those bits.

Now, I wouldn't expect this every time, but he is sending me those two parts for free. I've used their stuff for decades, but I am truly stunned. What a great outfit.

Uh hell yes! That's awesome. It sounds like it could be affordable too... if they're willing to send it out for free.

I will await your review before contacting them.

The oil doesn't hurt the clutch material designed to be used dry? That seems odd to me.. but awesome otherwise!!

Any chance of getting them over here in the uk,
I'd like a set and would pay costs.
After all, I did start this thread ;-)
