Triumph Thruxton R

Well I've been lusting after aThruxton R ever since the launch earlier this year. Picked this beauty up last week.
All I can say is wow. Absolutely love it.

I have had 2007 (last year with Carb + slim tank in the US) Bonnie that I Thruxtonified. Though I loved the bike, geometry was not quick turning, and also I felt the weight of the bike quite often. What do you think of the handling and the weight?

Ha... there is a reason they race Thruxtons/Bonnevilles in their own class. It's a 60+ year old design with a few updates. Classic design, probably a lot of fun to cruise around town on. I'd love to have one in the stable. I also can't imagine they handle much better than a brick

Steering and handling is superb, it's reminds me of my 996, corners like its on rails,
with ohlins rear and fully adjustable showa front combined with rosso corsa tyres its mint. beef tits might be right about the old generation, but he doesn't know what he 's talking about regarding the new R version.

Congrats on the new addition to your stable. That's quite an enviable collection you have there, the NC30 and YPVS (called RZ350 in NZ) being two of my favourites.

Very nice. I have an mag wheeled 09 Bonneville. I love the bike, even with the bargain basement suspension. Your new Thruxton is gorgeous. I didn't ride one, because I already knew I wanted to add the Hyperstrada to the stable.
