Mirrors

Hi folks, anyone recommend mirrors that are more interesting than the sick ones?

I think the Rizoma line are the only ones worth replacing for. but the price of their stuff is insane. Honestly, the small number of members that replaced mirrors looked like a waste of time and money. It's just hard to make mirrors on a bike - that actually work - look "good". Sure, the SP style end cap ones look cool but, if I'm gonna have mirrors I want them to work. Little ones dangling off the bar ends are useless.

I bought this from PUIG.
Rear mirrors For the bike model Ducati HYPERSTRADA 2013 | Puig

Not installed yet, but looks real nice.
Now it will be possible to se traffic behind me, and not just my shoulders.

Not a plug and play installation, you need some modification (I think)

I changed the mirrors on my bike for these.
In my honest opinion the standard units deserve to be on a Chinese scooter

I Ride: anything I can get my hands on
Hi Pom, those look pretty good. A few questions... What are they? Is the glass convex, and if so, how much? And how steady are they on the road?

I can put up with shaky mirrors on my Velos, as they are unlikely to attract the attention of the cops, but on newer, faster bikes I'd like to be able to see them behind me.

Yes - that was my post. They're very good - stay in place - a little wider and a little more surface area for a good view. I think they look good but if you don't like the originals you might not like these.

The post has all the parts numbers.

The mirrors on my bike are "Chaft Gipsy" They are imported here from Europe
and available on the net at about 55 Euros each. They are good and solid, do not vibrate or rattle and come complete with the left hand/right hand mounting kit needed for the Ducati.

I am not sure if they are convex, but they do work for me and I am very happy with them.

The stock mirrors on the Hyper are awful, the rubber boots on mine were always coming loose and they vibrated something terrible. In fact they were so bad I gave them to my mate to put on his FZ6 Fazer
