I Ride: 2015 Hyperstrada
Cool Soon to be Hyperstrada owner???

Hi,

I am new to the site and I have been using your many great articles as research as to whether or not I should move from my 848 to the Hyperstrada.

My dealer recently offered me this deal, what do you think? Is it a good idea?

"I can offer you our demo that you rode on Saturday. As you know the bike has only covered 385 miles, I can offer that to you for £9,500 instead of £10,931 a massive saving of £1431. The bike was only registered on the 30th April"

Sam

I love the 848, and would like to have one for track events. Pretty sure I would not end up using it much on the streets.... and my wrists, back, neck, etc..... are all very happy riding the HS anywhere, anytime, including urban....

Cheers,
"too old for supersport..."

I've always been into supersports, but based on where you and I live (not that far from each other) how often do you really get to use them properly without risking life and license?

After going down the Supermotard route first time round with a Husaberg, I found it possible to have much more fun at much lower speeds. But, that bike was a hardcore race bike, and fucking unreliable.

The Hyperstrada however is just perfect. I mean, not entirely so - it's certainly no Honda when it comes to build quality - but just so fun, usable, and practical at the same time.

I couldn't recommend it more.

I use my bike for everything including a trip to the Pyrenees and that was the turning point. It is great fun on the twisty stuff but just not worth the pain of getting there or the recovery time once back.

If I could afford to have this just as a track day tool, it would be the weapon of choice!

I totally agree, this is the logic I am working on. I have now had the Ducati Sports bike which is a tick on the bucket list but it's not worth the pain!
