I Ride: 2015 Hyperstrada 821
Smile Hello and greetings from India

Hello !

Greetings from India to fellow Hyper riders .
I picked up a 2015 Hyperstrada821 couple of months back and so far enjoying it.
Ofcourse the bike feels punished in the Indian thick traffic, but comes on its own on the highways.
Ducati started operations couple of months back in India, very new here, glad they are finally here. Somehow the HS is not so popular here, but i feel its perfect for the traffic conditions in my country.
Lots of valuable information here for me.

Cheers!

Congratulations and Welcome. You might think about gearing the bike down a little if you are going to be stuck in a lot of traffic. I will admit the HS has the best factory gearing of any Ducati I have ever owned but it is still geared a bit high for stop and go.

You're a brave man! I travelled a lot in India when I was younger; it seemed like every man for himself on the roads there. I guess you get used to it?

Welcome along!!

Thanks lomax. Well I cannot do any changes to the bike, the dealer will outright void the warranty . Only solution is to use it for touring and long rides, I dont commute on it at all. The bike cries, pleads and gets too hot for the conditions here.

Yes Jokeshopbeard.. lol got used to it. these fast hooligan ducatis are even more challenging to deal with, you gotta be alert and ride defensively. Its worth the risk
