Hypermotard + 848 SF Go off road

A friend and I went off roading last Sunday. There is some trails near my house that go pretty far considering its Long Island. Lots of ruts, mud, jumps, hills. We ran into a few guys on quads out there who were pretty shocked we were so far into the trails. The hyper actually feels pretty good out there, just needs proper tires (I have Rosso II) I think he has Pirelli Diablo. Went pretty good until I lost it in some soft stuff and I broke the handguard. This is 2nd time I dropped the bike and it seems to fall pretty good. All the essentials seem to be tucked in nicely to avoid damage. Even the top case doesnt touch ground.

Note: Check the speakers on my handlebars! Haha I love my bike. Videos coming soon!

3rd pic: We're Ducatisti posers at Starbucks haha Not really; we walked in with mud all over ourselves. It tends to create confusion..

I Ride: 2013 White Strada
I don't know if I would take my Street Fighter off road, because "Street" Fighter. He could have crushed or punctured that lower radiator, which is quite low. But I just have to imagine it would have been painful. I rode a SF and it was sport bike ergo's. My wrists would have been barking after 20 minutes of bumps.

Yeah I was surprised he went as far as he did. That lower radiator looks like a bash plate

Dropped mine on rocks and dirt - nothing broke. Landed on my leg and pinned me - so that may have helped (the bike). Switching to urban helps, but the gearing for slow tough stuff isn't right. A lot of clutch slipping needed. Somehow I always end up on some dirt road so practice will make perfect - hopefully.
