its was brilliant, couldn't get it over as far as i'd like to, as it was grinding the brake and gear levers, but the punch coming out of the corners was great and the traction control was keeping the rear under control. I'm looking at adjusting them higher and rearsets for the footpegs as the right one touched down too. the only bikes that had me on the day, where two racing super hypermotards and a superports bike with a guy who knew how to ride.

Sweet. Guess I'm still a little nervous about wadding up my preferred daily driver on the track. That, and the cost of a set of leathers that I won't be able to hide from the wife.

I'm surprised that even the Motards don't have tip over feelers on the pedals. How much stuff did you remove?

only removed the center stand and jacked up rear pre-load.
Don't forget mine is the 'low version'. I'd like to take a new SP or hypermotard round the track, they have got much more ground clearance.

Wow, less than $17 per session? How long are they? How many in a day? Sounds as if it 'almost' makes up for all the gatsos and banning on the road.

Our local track days are roughly $250/day, and you get a session every hour for about six total. They still sell out.

All the money goes to charity, ten laps a session which believe me is enough, I did two this time round on the hyper and three last Oct on the vfr400. the track opens about 3pm and closes just before sundown, you can do as many sesions as you can get in, just have to wait in line as they only let 6 on the track at a time. So all depends on how busy it gets.
