Lomax said it worked on his Multistrada but he doesn't have a Hyper anymore so he didn't follow up on it

He said that our Strada has the feature already programmed in it, just like the Multistrada that doesn't come with the cruise control, and that Boulder Motor Sports cracked it and activated it.
He said it works like the factory cruise control by pushing the start button when the bike is started and then use that to set the speed and push the brakes or clutch to disengage.
He said that the shop was working on the same hack for Hypers but he sold his and he never followed up on it.
I sent an email and a facebook message to the store but no luck yet.
I will try to call in the next couple of days, anybody in Denver or Boulder that wants to follow up on this is more than welcome!

That sounds promising, but I remember the OP that had the test unit encountered quite a few more bugs. It could just be factory coding barriers but it wasn't a simple unlock and it works like the Multi. If that were the case, any dealer could unlock it and we could use Multi OEM or after market kits.

I"m curious to hear what they cracked and unlock to enable the cruise control to work as you described, I have a Rexxner, so if I know what to unlock, probably can get this working...

I wonder how this would effect the heated grip function as they also use the start button to actuate once engine is running.
